Committed to the long-term success of Baltimore City youth
and to life changing opportunities for independent school students

Bridges supports the success of Baltimore City youth from Title I public schools starting at age 9 and continuing to age 23. Bridges’ year-round program helps students find consistent academic success from elementary school through high school, graduate from high school and college, and find fulfilling career paths that lead to financial security.

Baltimore independent high school students come from Bridges’ host sites and engage in programs with Bridges’ youngest students. The experience creates a space for independent school students of all backgrounds to build close relationships with Baltimore City School students, learn about issues of unequal access and opportunity in Baltimore, and be part of building a more inclusive and equitable society.
